IRC --- Intensive Reading Class

Intensive Reading Class (IRC) is one of the school-based curricula of the English Department to promote English learning environment.  The English Department bought readers with different levels for junior form students to read in-class.  The readers have various categories and students have chances to dabble in different genres.  Furthermore, MP4 players are offered to junior students who can listen to the stories while they are reading, just like someone is telling stories to them.  Students can follow the stories better and learn the pronunciations as well via the practice.  After they read the readers, they need to complete book reviews and some related exercises.  Students are expected to finish at least three readers every year.
